‘House for Violins’ is part of an ongoing collaboration between INDA and TECC (Thai Elephant Conservation Centre). The previous DCC project, hosted by INDA and lead by Tijn van de Wijdeven, was completed in September 2014 and included a classroom for elephants and concerts. The name of this project, ‘Tairomchang’, literally refers to the roof structure provided for performances which involve the elephants of TECC. Based on the success of this project, the collaboration continues and we will shift focus to the realm of music performance.
